“Missy is an amazing ELA tutor, and a gifted teacher. She is fantastic with both our sons. She tutored our eldest son from K through to 2nd grade, and still tutors our youngest boy in first grade. She makes reading fun, and focuses on developing confidence as well as a love of language. Our sons both excelled under her guidance. Our eldest son even scored in the 99th percentile on his standardized 2nd grade assessment, and qualified for Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth- Missy’s tutoring played a critical role in this achievement. Missy would be fantastic if your child is struggling, but also if your child is bright and you want to give them an extra boost and confidence to help them excel. She is extremely responsive to parents needs and feedback, and has individualized plans for each child. If I am at work and do not get to touch base with her in person she sends me a text letting me know what she covered with the boys, and their progress. I cannot recommend Missy highly enough.”
